KanjiVG Stroke Data

Kanji stroke SVG paths and stroke-number start positions are derived from KanjiVG.

This site uses a generated subset of KanjiVG data for Japanese primary school kanji. The SVG files under data/kanji/ are KanjiVG-derived material.

Kanji Readings

Kanji readings and exact vocabulary readings used for ruby/furigana display are derived from kanji-data.

Application Libraries

The website runtime uses React and React DOM, licensed under the MIT License. Build tooling includes Vite and TypeScript under permissive open-source licenses.

AI-Generated Audio

Prefecture and hiragana pronunciation MP3 files are generated with Google Cloud Text-to-Speech from Japanese reading text. They are not recordings of a human speaker.
